![]() ![]() Mainly because of the bad item management. A good 1/3 of the traps have NEVER been unlocke din any playthrough. Not due to difficulty but simply more waves. With the +2 lvel increase each try the levels are starting to take longer and longer. ![]() So overall I'd say it's a success, I got an extra 4 playthroughs out of it. ![]() Once I've completed all the obvjectives is the tedious clicking on extra maps until I get ones in the right spots to unlock the hidden levels. I completely ignore items at this point, nothign I get will be a significiant upgrade anymore and just takes more time to sort. Now I finish off the rest of the maps and all the objectives. At that point I have a level 200+ trap and 9 gold items for that trap. I just rush to the final upper right map, ignoring everything else. My first run through I ran endless waves for ever map, building up my stats before progressing.Īfter my first ascention and the ones after, I never ran an endless wave again. Cranking out more levels to play with crazy trap builds is part of the fun and it's sad that's no longer easily done. Not because I need to, but because it takes away one of the fun things about the endgame. I dislike not being able to re-run levels for more XP. Traps unlock for every map you clear, so it will get harder and harder to get to the 'good' ones. So far the first levels are getting harder until I can get more traps. Has anyone ascended very high? I'm wondering if the difficulty ramp eventually overwhelms the bonuses you carry over. Two things not mentioned in the info screen, once you ascend you can no longer repeat levels for more XP, and the base map level increases by 2. Starting on 4 with 1600 gems, 170 skill points, 85% rarity, 20% gold increase. So I just made it to level 4 and thought I'd share my thoughts, curious how others found it. ![]()
